Who should look elsewhere: anyone who wants the Viking Ship Museum between October and March, when this day leaves it out, and travellers with only one possible date, because a departure with fewer than six bookings is likely to be cancelled, with a full refund.
What to know before you book:
- Included. Pickup and drop-off at central Copenhagen hotels with room for a bus, and at the cruise terminals; all entry tickets; guided visits at Kronborg and Roskilde Cathedral; water and wifi.
- Not included. Lunch, which you buy in Hillerød.
- Pickup rules. No pickup at private flats, Airbnb lets or around City Hall Square; pickup can start up to 45 minutes before the tour.
- Walking. About 10,000 steps, spiral stairs and cobbles. Not suitable for wheelchair users or children under five; no luggage on board.
- Winter. From October to December the day is listed for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Kronborg is closed on Mondays in November and December 2026, and the winter version on Viator leaves those Mondays out of its calendar, apart from 28 December (read October 2026).
